But Tara Reid appears to have forgotten to floss her teeth before she left home yesterday.

The 35-year-old American Pie star smiled widely as she strolled around Beverly Hills, showing off a dark piece of matter between her molars.

The star, who made a name for herself  in The Big Lebowski in 1998 and American Pie the following year, looked smart in a blue jacket, black top , skinny jeans and black boots.

But despite her obvious dental malfunction, the star, who has had a quiet few years after a series of film flops and direct-to-DVD releases, says she is getting her career back on track this year.

'I have a movie coming out called 'The Fields,' she told Hollywood TV recently.

'I have another one coming out that I produced with my brother, called The Irishman. And we'll be doing American Pie 4 this year.'

And after developing a reputation as something of a socialite, the star is determined to prove her critics wrong.

'I’m not just a party girl, there is a lot more to me,' she said. 'I have a big heart and I’m a lot smarter than people think.

'I want to be remembered as a good person, a good (future) mother and wife as well as a good sister, and a good friend.'

The star has recently found love again with Danish businessman Michael Lilleund after calling things off with fiancé Michael Axtmann last year.
