The son of a 63-year-old man who died two years ago following a road rage fight with Netflix Mexican actor Pablo Lyle has filed a civil lawsuit and is seeking $100,000 for 'severe emotional damages.'

Juan Ricardo Hernández has sued for the anguish he says his family has suffered as a result of the March 31, 2019 incident that took place in the middle of a busy Miami street. His dad Juan Ricardo Hernández Sr died four days after the attack, which left him with a fractured skull and internal bleeding.

Lyle has been charged with manslaughter over the incident, and is due to stand trial in June.

According to TV Azteca's investigative news show 'Ventaneando', the lawsuit alleges that the victim and his surviving family members have suffered pain due to the incident's violent nature and the publicity that the victim's death generated.

The family claims they spent their life savings to cover the funeral and hospital expenses.

Lucas Delfino, Lyle's brother-in-law, is also named in the lawsuit which was filed March 29.

Lyle is best known for his work in Mexican soap opera 'My Adorable Curse' and the Netflix series 'Yankee'.

The 33-year-old Lyle then rushed towards Hernández, knocking him out and sending him crashing to the ground.

Hernández suffered a fracture to the right side of the skull and internal bleeding from the fall, and was declared dead April 4 after his family gave the order to have his life support turned off.

Following the fight, Lyle left the scene but police were able to track him down to Miami International Airport. After dropping off his family at the airport, Lyle and his Delfino turned themselves in.

Lyle has argued in court that he acted in self-defense because Hernández threatened him and his family.

His manslaughter trial, which has been delayed on several occasions, is set for June.
